Chief Executive Officer

BCI has developed a reputation as a leading and innovative company specializing in the development of market-driven products for the transmission of Digital Connectivity Solutions (video, audio, data, and control) over fiber, HD-BaseT, IP and now is expanding to Wireless. Many of BCI’s clients are world leaders in their industry, which span a wide variety of industry segments including entertainment, broadcast, medical, professional audio/video, government and military.

Our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide leadership and strategic vision to the organization. This is a critical leadership role that will drive results, spur growth and increase the overall efficiency of the corporation

What You’ll Do:

  • Effectively communicate and foster growth among the leadership team and all employees. 
  • Plan, develop, implement and direct the organization’s operational and fiscal function and performance.
  • Act as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the company’s plans and programs.
  • Analyze and make recommendations on the impact of long-range growth initiatives, planning and introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions.
  • Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company.
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Improve the planning and budgeting process on a continual basis by educating departments and key members of corporate leadership.
  • Optimize the handling of banking relationships and work closely with the finance team to foster and grow strategic financial partnerships.
  • Work with the finance team to develop a solid cash flow projection and reporting mechanism, which includes setting a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and consultant offering expert advice on contracts, negotiations or business deals into which the corporation may enter..
  • Evaluate company’s financial, operational and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.
  • Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the executive team and all members of staff.  
  • Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
  • Assist leadership team in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.
  • Drive company results from both an operational and a financial perspective, working closely with the finance team and other key leadership team members.
  • Partner with the finance team to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
  • Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
  • Establish effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Work with other leadership members on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
  • Work closely with the leadership management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company. 
  • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.
  • Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • MBA from Top Business School Preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience required.
  • Ability to train, develop and manage executive teams
  • Exceptional executive presence, business acumen and presentation skills.
  • Budgeting and/or financial focused mindset required.
